Review: 1More Quad Driver Iems – A Former Foray To The Forefront Of Per-Four-Mance

The 1MORE Quad Driver IEMs.

In the ever-evolving world of IEMs, can the mighty dinosaurs still rule?

Alexander and Ari of 1MORE kindly provided the Quad Driver iEMs for review. For USD 170, you can buy the Quad Driver PEMs at 1MORE.

Market volatility is the hallmark of Chi-Fi IEMs. The headphone market is volatile. Those who follow it see brightly, but only briefly, shining stars come and go. This makes them more visible than any other technology market. High-performers rarely remain the center of attention, so the fans quickly move on to the next thing. You’ve probably heard of and remembered some classics. These models were among the very best, providing the best value for you money as well as the greatest performance. You can still find classics such as the 1MORE Quad Driver IEMs.

In discussions, it is not uncommon to mention the great performers of yesteryear. The rapid advancement of technology in China and superior sound quality have made it so that the “new” is often considered to be better than the “old”. So, today we’re going to check out if the Quad Driver can still hold their own.

1MORE’s Quad Driver brings new ideas to the table in 2021. Their sound. A Grammy-winning professional can tune your song. In this case, it means a fun, mellow, and musical sound signature. It’s a signature that sounds different than the current boosted V-shape or Harman tuning trends.

High Quality and Design

1More Quad Driver I continued to be impressed during the review by both the style and design of the Quads. They’re a beautiful pair of headphones that look fantastic and have a solid construction. Little in the way of plastics, its a solid metal build that both looks and feels premium.

The metal housings of earbuds mentioned above are an all-metal design. Their shape is like a turbine and tapers to your ear. The nozzle is relatively small and the filter at the end of the earbuds are made from a perforated sheet of metal rather than paper.

1More instead of using a strain relief like the flexed rubber type, uses an elongated shaft made from metal that extends downward from its driver housing. This looks pretty cool and also does a great job of protecting the cable from excessive wear and tear.

The cable is incredible and one of the best on any earphone we have reviewed this year. A twister cable with copper and red wires is enclosed in a soft, rubberized sheath. The earphones performed very well, being very resistant to tangles and low in microphonics. This is a problem point with earphones worn down cable.

There is a metal cable splitter but sadly not slider on it due the addition of an inline remote/mic. Again, the remote is high-quality and finished in the same metal. The traditional 3-button design allows you to adjust volume, playback and make calls. It is also made out of metal, and has a pleasant tactile and clicky feel. During the review, no issues were found in the call quality. People said they felt clear and heard the conversation clearly with little external noise.

Sound Quality

The 1More quad driver This is the place where 1More’s Quad Driver truly shine. It has an almost identical sound profile to my Final Audio $1000 FI-BA SS. They have a sparkle to the top end, an enhanced set of lows a the midrange is smooth and packed with detail.

Treble – Straight out the box the treble seemed to be a bit too sparkly but after a bit of burn into both the earphones and my brain it settles down and became full of detail and energy. The treble is not sloping off as other manufacturers have done these days, to please the masses. Music today is greatly enhanced when it has a solid top end. EDM is an example of this. The EP Infected mushrooms Converting Vegetarians EP has a strong top end that really brings out the music.

Midrange-The Mids are the main star of the show. Smooth with lots of detail, but with enough space and air to make you want more. They are a cut above the rest for their price. Vocals and strings also benefit from the separation and layering which gives the midrange an almost 3-dimensional effect. Also, there’s no noticeable peaking of upper midrange. It sounds consistent and natural. Not one time during our review was there any pressure on the midrange. It seems to be able to take whatever track you throw at it.

Conclusion: Another Quad Driver Review

My favorite Quad Driver sound is clear. I can’t seem to stop listening to them over the past few weeks and I’m very much into that open sound and excellent midrange.

1More and other companies are pushing higher quality headphones at an affordable price to target audiophiles.

What 1More have done with both the Triple Driver and now the Quad driver is amazing. It is a unique design that is both stylish and functional.

They are worth recommending. They’re my top recommendation.

They have always had a fair price for their products, and most of their products are within the entry-level or midrange zone. Their current flagship product is 200 USD. This is not even middle-range, but it is still a great price. Their products are excellent quality with great overall quality. They also make unboxing a pleasure. While they are responsive to all emails promptly and give excellent service, their local seller is not always available. This means that you can get 1More items directly from them, or larger shops like Amazon.

Note that 1More does not have any affiliation to me, and I don’t receive anything for the review. 1More was kind enough to send me the sample. This review is based upon my experience with 1More Stylish WSW IEMs. Each opinion is my own. I stand behind it. This review was written to help people who are looking for 1More Quad Drivers and Stylish IEMs.

Let us start by getting rid of all the packaging.

Quad Driver may not be known for its unique name but its packaging is. The best package is one that includes a basic feature, such an IEM. It’s not much but it does include tips and a carry case.

Quad Driver’s package is great value for money, however, it does not include a Balanced cable and doesn’t offer any other special features. However, the tip selection also includes foam tips.

1More just can’t stop shaking up the audiophile market – the 1More Triple Driver was a huge success and gave superb sound quality for its price, even beating out many more expensive earphones. They’ve outdone themselves with their Quad Driver, which is a good thing for consumers.

1More sent us the 1More Quad Driver Hybrid Earphone to review. It is currently available for $199.99 USD. To learn more, please click here. The Quad Driver was 1More’s first hybrid design (a dynamic driver, balanced armature), and it seems like they would have a hard time replicating their success. While the Triple Driver retails at 100 USD, its pricing is well within their price range. It’s a highly-priced product that can be disruptive in a market with increasing costs. The Quad Driver, a hybrid with 1 balanced armature was revealed. I was skeptical about it. While I loved the Triple Driver, and had confidence in it, 1More seemed to be just following the trend towards adding drivers.

And the Quad Driver, it turns out, is more than an extra balanced armoury. Despite the glowing reviews for the Triple Driver, it wasn’t a perfect product for the most discerning audiophile fans as many felt that its sound was just a little too scattered and soft at times, especially the bass response. It is clear that 1More took all of the feedback and created the Quad Driver to improve the sound quality.

Here’s the short summary. 1More’s Quad Driver offers a stunning, high-resolution, and silky smooth sound. This is combined with a comfortable design. The bass is neutral, but the track is still powerful enough to handle heavier songs. Mids and highs sound great and are never too loud – the Triple Driver at its best. It’s hard to beat the Triple Driver for value, but the Quad Driver still hits way above its price bracket.

About the Quad Driver

A hybrid in-ear monitor, the Quad driver features a diamond-like carbon driver at low volume and three balanced drivers at mid and high volumes.

1More partnered with Luca Bignardi a Grammy winner producer to refine the Quad driver. Their goal is to create a sound that’s balanced and has a soundstage that sounds very real. We will see if they succeed in this endeavor. 1More’s willingness to seek out professional advice is encouraging.

The Quad’s tech sheet will reveal that the device has a 32 Ohm rated impedance and sensitivity of 99dB. That makes the Quad driver a relatively easy to drive monitor. The hybrids I like are better when you put more power into them.

To be fully compatible with the mainstream audio-head’s needs, 1More decided to put a microphone and in-line remote into the Quad. The microphone is located in the right ear-piece.

The Quad driver’s frequency range is 20Hz to 40kHz. Therefore, it will be suitable for HiRes Logos from the Japan Audio Society. Which to me is more for marketing than it says about audio, but okay.

A Quad driver is available for purchase at 149$ from either 1More directly or through one of their dealer on-and offline.

1More Quad Driver Earphones Review

This earphone has four drivers, as you can see: each driver is located in the earpiece.

The 1More Quad Driver earphones are priced at Rs. 13,499

1More Quad Driver headphones are available at Rs. 13,499

Three balanced armature drivers and one dynamic driver are used

These earphones have a great sound quality, but they’re a little too costly

Although truly wireless earphones are something to be on the lookout for when it comes to premium audio, good quality wired headphones still appeals to many purists. A good pair of wired headphones will still transmit the highest quality audio to the source device. This is why audiophiles like them, not Bluetooth, which can be a lossy medium.

Even though the drivers of good headphones don’t determine how great they are, the types and numbers of them can make a difference in what kind of experience you should expect. While we have heard about headphones with three drivers each in the earpieces, there are also two or three drivers. The Rs. 13,499 1More Quad Driver earphones are a unique option that have, as the name suggests, four drivers each. Are more drivers always better? Or will they make it messy? Designer and specifications for 1More Quad Drivers

Even though it can be confusing for some people to grasp the concept of simple wired earphones that are so expensive, 1More Quad Driver manages to convince those who understand its appeal. The earphones are built beautifully, with metal casings designed like jet engines. The casings also have red accents which enhance their beauty.

The canal pipes of these earphones is significantly bigger than the ones we’ve seen in other reviews. Additionally, they are 45 degrees away from the main casings which 1More claims improves comfort and fit. We found that the earphones fit us well when used with the included silicone ear tips, and we were able to use them for hours at a time without any discomfort.

Beyond the earbuds themselves, the quality build extends to other parts of the device, such as the microphone module and in-line remote. The cable has a twisted texture that helps prevent tangling, and although there is a bit of cable noise above the Y-splitter, the part below it doesn’t have any such issues.

1More Quad Driver was named for its three balanced drivers, which handle the mid- and high ranges. A single graphene dynamic drivers handles the lows. The earphones were also certified THX by Grammy-winning sound engineer Luca Bignardi.

This excellent package includes a beautiful box, presentation and earphones. Nine pairs of ear tips are included, with three foam and one each of the smaller sizes. Even though we are a fan of foam ear tips we didn’t find the 1More Quad Driver to provide a snug and quiet fit. Instead, we prefer the silicone tips that came with these earphones.

The package includes a case, an adapter for airplanes, a shirt clip, and a adapter that converts 3.5mm to 6.3mm to allow you use your earphones with high quality audio equipment. You can choose from a frequency response between 20-40kHz. The earphones also feature a 99dB sensitivity and an impedance rate of 32 Ohms.

Are 1More and Other Good Brands?

Good. The 1More stylish True Wireless headphones sound great for true wireless headphones, especially for their price. They also have good battery life, fit pretty comfortably and maintain a reliable wireless connection. The controls are very simple and easy to use.

Is 1More headphone worth it?

It’s still an excellent set of earphones. The 1MORE Triple Driver In-Ear earbuds have their faults but remain a great pair of earbuds, and a steal for less than $100. They are durable and provide solid audio quality, making them a must-have earbud for any person who needs a plug-andplay solution.

What is the best gaming driver 1More?

Average for gaming. They have low latency and a wired connection. The microphone is compatible with both consoles as well as PCs, and produces a balanced sound.

What Do Quad Drivers Do?

Quad Drivers are composed of three balanced armature driver and one carbon, diamond-like carbon driver. This combination delivers best-in-class audio quality across the spectrum. Interestingly, 1MORE launched the cheaper Triple Driver headphones at the same time.Jul 3, 2018
