Choose from a variety of Cookware Products

All-Clad makes many different products, including cookware (pots and pans), small appliances (toasters, slow cookers, waffle makers), ovenware (roasting sheets, bakers), and kitchen tools (tongs, whisks, serving utensils, spatulas).

However, we will only be focusing on their most coveted product line, which is cookware.

Before we get to the specifics of All-Clad’s unique cookware and whether high-priced prices are justified or not, let us first look at the products and their various options.

All-Clad revamped their cookware collections in 2020. C4 Copper, LTD, Thomas Keller and Thomas Keller were removed from the All-Clad collections. FusionTec is an all-new ceramic collection. D3 Everyday features a completely redesigned version of D3’s best-selling D3 cookingware.

Here I will briefly review each of the collections available right now and explain what makes them unique.

The All-Clad Collection and How It Has Held up to 15 Years of Cooking

In the span of several years I bought a handful items from sample sales and built my All Clad collection. For big events, I ask for specific pots. Even though it was not a proper lid, one of the pans I purchased at thrift stores came with a reusable cover.

Credit: Meghan Splawn First I bought that two-quart saucepan during a seconds sale online. I bought the saucepan to be able to cook candy and caramels in my tiny apartment. The pan was a disaster. It has seen a lot more sugar than I did in my early days, but it is still in great condition. I use it for morning oatmeal, popcorn on the stove, and Annie’s mac & cheese for my kids. This pot is what I purchase most often for my newlywed friend because it can make soups, rice and other dishes for just two.

Credit: Meghan Splawn. My All-clad Collection grew with my family. I added a four-quart soup pot (which All-Clad calls a “casserole”) to my cupboard. You can use it as a seconds pot, and you won’t find it flat enough on many cooktops. This is one of my favorite pots it cooks weeknight pasta with ease and I love using it for making fudge or creating a double boiler for melting chocolate. There is some blackening to the bottom that I put down on my husband making a batch of burnt popcorn. This could be scrubbed out using a bit of elbow grease but the bottom is still fine.

All-Clad Stainless 4 Quart Cake – 200 at Sur la Table Credit : Meghan Splawn. I was given a 12-inch saute pot by Alton during my internship and was eventually offered a full-time position managing his cookbook projects. This is the All-Clad pan I use most for stovetop-to-oven cooking. It gets used as often for Trader Joe’s frozen potstickers as it does for boiling homemade pretzels. Because it can cook large meals easily, my husband refers to it as “the family skillet” and because it’s so much easier than his cast iron skillet. Stainless steel cookware does require generous greasing to keep things from sticking, which is especially true of this pan. For different uses, I like it just as much as our 12-inch Cast Iron skillet.

A few All-Clad pans are also available that are sturdy and durable. I currently have an eight-quart pot for pasta, a saucier of one-quart that’s great for cooking marinades and melting butter, as well as a couple of half-quart cocottes for the kids. While any one of these can be used for specific purposes, they are not my favorite pans. I have considered purging some from my cabinet and will still buy them for family members.

Lastly, and maybe most importantly, I vote to skip All-Clad’s expensive nonstick pans. An eight inch nonstick skillet that I owned didn’t survive more than three years of egg-frying regular use. A better nonstick pan can be purchased for a lot less.

All-Clad cookware has a long life expectancy. I am 100% certain mine will. I’ll be writing another review within another fifteen years! It is understandable that you might want to purchase a set in order to cut costs, but the fact that my collection was built over time and I got the only pots and saucepans I used, makes it all worth it.

It’s light, but retains heat beautifully and can even heat up.

HA1 Hard-Anodized Nonstick Cookware Set If you’re shopping for a nonstick cookware set, the All-Clad HA1 10-piece set is the best choice . It’s beautifully designed, featuring a sleek, black finish and shiny metal handles. The pans are more crispy than other nonstick sets. Our reviewer said that they were able to create a crisp sear when she cooked chicken skin-on. A lidded pot makes fluffy rice because it traps steam in the container. The set includes 8- and 10-inch frying pans, 2.5- and 3.5-quart sauce pans, a 4-quart saute pan, and an 8-quart stockpot.

It’s programmable and has three cooking modes (Low, High, and Hi/Lo). The device switches to Keep warm mode after the cooking process is finished. It can keep you warm up to six hour.

Set of Two All-Clad ha1 nonstick frypans

Justin Park / Justin Spruce Purchase on Wayfair Shop on Bed Bath & Beyond. We bought the All-Clad HA1 Nostick Fry Pan Set to put in our kitchen. Keep reading for our full product review.

All-Clad cookware and kitchen equipment is made in America by All-Clad. Though the sturdy and useful cookware from All-Clad isn’t necessarily the best option, the All-Clad All-Clad 1 Nonstick Pan Set is one their lowest-end products. These nonstick 8-inch and 10 inch frying pans were tested to determine if their reputation for durability and performance is still valid for the more expensive products. For several weeks we cooked meals, breakfasts, and lunches in these skillets to test their durability and performance as well as ease-of-use.
