Below are the results for the Callaway Big Bertha B21 driver. Callaway Big Bertha B21 has the complete list of drivers. Test results can be found here. Our verdict: While this driver looks great and is perfect to correct a slice, it was the feeling at impact that made many of our testers ask if the driver could take home the BB B21. The feel of the BB B21 is amazing. It launches high, and has extra forgiveness. The market choice I chose was this one. If you buy a linked product, GOLF.COM may earn a fee. There may be a variation in pricing.

OUR TAKE: If you keep fighting for a slice, this is the drive that you need in your bag. The aesthetics are important, but don’t let that stop you. Testers say “the sapphire Blue with a Splash of Red just does it for us.” Some were also curious if it was possible to take home the club. “I love the feel, can I get a triple love? It launches high and is more forgiving. One person stated that this was her favorite. It’s more forgiving and aesthetically pleasing. It is the perfect driver pairing. DESCRIPTION: Callaway changed the driver’s recipe to achieve the ideal balance between spin and speed. He moved the CG forward and low to decrease spin. This is because reducing spin overall will reduce side-spin, which can cause wayward shots not to be played. This spin-killer doesn’t compromise on consistency or forgiveness. When they are finding more fairways, this package is a must-have for high-handicap slicers. Callaway utilized its Flash Face SS21 technology to help with mishits. This was made possible by Artificial Intelligence. Review 150+ of our Gear Experts in the ClubTest 2021 Collection View Product Details: Callaway updated the traditional driver recipe by positioning the CG lower and forward to reduce spin. To reduce sidespin, Callaway believes that this will eliminate the possibility of wayward shots being lost. This spin-killer doesn’t compromise on consistency or forgiveness. It’s a package any high-handicap slicer will no doubt appreciate.

Here’s what you need to know about the Callaway Big Bertha B21 driver

Callaway’s latest distance driver The B21 driver by Callaway is Callaway’s very first high launch driver. It has an extremely low forward center of gravity, which increases ball speed. Callaway says this new low spin recipe is for accurate distance and speed at the average swing speed.

What tech do you use?

Just like Callaway’s Mavrik driver, the B21 driver has Jailbreak bars behind the face to max out ball speed from whatever swing speed you can muster. You can also get a stronger, lighter titanium Flash Face and a Triaxial carbon crown that will help you extract every bit of performance.

Callaway says the B21’s new head has a larger front-to-back area, making it easier to use. This creates a more triangular shape that increases forgiveness. Internal draw bias is built into each head to help counteract a distance zapping slice, too.

Callaway Suits have developed a totally new shaft that can be used with the B21 steelwoods. Due to its lightweight construction, and the active tip section it has, this shaft naturally adds loft to impact. Therefore shots are shot higher to maximize carry. Golf Pride’s Tour 360Soft Soft grip, a newly developed grip specifically for target golfers, is available.

Callaway’s Head of R&D Dr Alan Hocknell was our source for the story behind The B21 Driver.

B21 began with extensive research into 17+ handicappers. Then, we investigated how the golfers hit their driver. Many of the test groups produced between 3,000 to 4,000 RPM, whereas 2,200-2 600 RPM backspin was often considered ideal. It’s not hard to see how dramatic the distance loss is for those who are able to hit the ball both on the ground and in the delivery path.

So we set out to design a driver that helped, not just by adding distance but also allowing golfers to aim more at their target and eliminate the dreaded slice. It’s the result of all our efforts, and is very unusual.

The driver has a forward and low CG, which is usually reserved for Sub Zero drivers with fast swing speeds. It also features extra draw bias and an excellent MOI. B21 Drivers offer an uncommon mix of spin reduction, both back and side spin, spin consistency and plenty of ball speed defense. Our target golfer is able to sparay shots across the driver.

We have never seen a driver quite like this before, and we are confident that there will be no other similar drivers in the future.

AI has also been used to improve the “Flash Face” insert that Callaway have developed. This improves ball speed as well as forgiveness. Finally, weighting and aerodynamics have been improved to increase speed and forgiveness.

The Epic Speed is a great value driver and Callaway Big Bertha B21Big Bertha B21 has a lot of technology. The Epic Speed also includes “Jail Break” but not the Epic 2021 edition. “Flash Face” technology is available. Also, it has a classic BB form.

It is constructed with a draw bias, which is something that distinguishes it from the rest. This driver is made for people who struggle to slice. Epic Speed’s semi-draw bias is due to the BB, but it was designed for more severe left to right flight ball flights.
