The vanity number can be chosen, which is a major bonus (100% of my referrals to Grasshopper got a vanity numbers). The best perks are: *No user costs – pay only for the number you use or purchase a bigger plan if your usage is high. *Mobile app allows you to dial your vanity number to get voicemails sent to you or to their mobile phone. *Call screening (personal favourite, as it lets me decide whether I will take that call. Time Zone set up for users located on different sides of the country (we are currently using this) No integration with CRM. Some CRM tools also have an auto dialer, which lets you associate calls and leads. This would make it a valuable addition to the tool. There are no vanity numbers in your area. We wish that the fees for regulatory compliance were lower. However, we can’t change this. It isn’t a scam, but you will need to ask the provider to give you access to the advanced user interface. There is no extra cost, but this is the you really need to make your life easier.

Grasshopper is a great service for small businesses. It’s easy to use, offers great options, and provides a great product. Some of its features include voicemail via text and encrypted faxes. Text messaging is also available. For personal users, this product would be highly recommended. This product has served me well for nearly a year.

Grasshopper allows you to easily set up an 800 number in your business. It syncs easily with all phones and can usually be used within 5-10 minutes. Customers are able to call, text, or fax to one number rather than having multiple extensions. This is very convenient both for customers and clients. The number can be used to call, text, or fax information to the same person. Grasshopper provides service for several extensions if you have employees throughout the nation or in different states.

One problem I found with Grasshopper, is that the 800 number will pop up when a client calls. It is easy to identify if someone calls the company, but it can also make it difficult to identify the person unless the “To see who’s calling…” option is used before answering. This issue is minor, and I am a private business owner who deals with numerous customers and clients throughout the state. I frequently get calls from new customers that I cannot recognize.

We have been using Grasshopper since years. Dollar for dollar it was a wise investment.

Our company made the move away from a PBX VOIP system years ago opting instead for employee cell phones and Grasshopper. It is far more versatile and cost-effective. It is simple to use the administration interface. Every user has their own extension. A directory can be created based on the spelling of the last name. You can also set up a roll sequence for incoming calls.

Although it is not your fault, you must educate users on how virtual PBX voicemail works. Messages sent to the PBX extension and PBX numbers are routed through Grasshopper, while direct calls go to the carrier.

It is easy to use. We have saved a lot by not needing to hire someone to answer the phone. The price is reasonable, and customers are fully informed.

Grasshopper allows us to manage calls with a lot of flexibility. The customer doesn’t know if we are at their business, or if they’re out and about. There are many options. You can choose to assign people to different calls. Text inquiries can be accepted. And we’re available 24 hours per day.

I don’t know if it takes customers as long to connect. Because they must wait until Grasshopper answers, then listen to the greetings, add an extension and wait to have the call forwarded. This is a minimal issue though in comparison to the alternative.
