The 32-ounce Kirkland Signature House Blend Medium roast or Espresso Blend Dark Roast bags will be proudly displayed on the bag. Costco The Kitchn rates these beans as a Buy, stating that they don’t taste bitter. The beans also keep well in the refrigerator or freezer.
However, as it was with Kirkland Signature Vodka the identification of the roasters responsible for Kirkland Signatures’ more costly line of single-origin espresso beans can be a little more challenging. But, while we wait, we can rely on the rave reviews we get from Purely Coffee Beans, who claims Costco’s roasters have achieved yet more victories in the coffee bean department.

There’s no secret about how much I love to save money. I try to bring my coffee to work at least 4 times per week as a way to save some money as buying coffee can get expensive. Imagine that 5x a week I purchased a $4 coffee at work. The cost of that coffee is approximately $1000 a year. It’s easy to see the many possibilities that this money can buy you. My secret to bringing coffee into work is making sure that it’s coffee you love and are happy with. Kirkland Signature House Coffee Medium Roast was recommended by Starbucks to me as I was low on coffee. Also, I think I am a good judge of coffee. I have had copious amounts of coffee over the years (I feel like 80). I used to drink a lot more coffee than I should have when I began working night shifts as a nurse. It turned out that I’m the type of person who can have a large cup of coffee, fall asleep within ten minutes and then go to sleep. However, this did give me an opportunity to experiment with different types of coffee.
Coffee is controversial when it comes to nutrition. Many people say that coffee is healthy, but others don’t agree. But I am confident that this wonderful coffee will not cause you to gain weight. Coffee only adds to daily caloric intake if you’re putting a ton of sugar and cream in it.
This coffee tastes like a medium to dark roast to me even though it says it is a medium roast, it’s not an oily dark roast. The coffee is not bitter and it doesn’t taste very dark. The flavor is bold, rich, creamy and smooth tasting and there’s no acidic taste! For a low price, this is an excellent quality coffee that’s not oily. Starbucks coffee lovers will enjoy it. It may seem too dark if dark roasts are overwhelming to you or you prefer light-medium roasts. I drink my coffee black and without cream I found this coffee to be really smooth and delicious. You’ll notice a stronger flavor if the coffee is ground finer than if it was ground coarser.
This bag comes in a big size for only 13.99 Canadian dollars. I’d bet that a bag this size would last for about one month, depending on how much you roast it and how many times you make it. That’s WAY cheaper than buying coffee! The cost of this product is very high. Think of all the money you’re saving.
Costco does not sell whole coffee beans. Instead, they offer coffee that is ground and ready to be brewed. A coffee machine and grinder make this task much more simple. It is possible to also make cold brew coffee using this machine. However, it can take some time and I am able to keep it in the fridge for up 3-4 days. Coffee is convenient. Once you know how to make it, it becomes very simple.
