Hey everyone, I’m back and I did a thing. It arrived in my mailbox a few days before I had even thought about buying the Marc Jacobs Small Traveler Tote Bag. I’m so excited that I treated myself to this beautiful bag. Although it is true that the gift was actually a birthday present, I chose to treat myself.
I bought the Slate Green in a smaller size and am now obsessed. The small size was more versatile, and it comes with a Strap that can be worn by either the handles or crossbody.
It’s the perfect bag to just throw all your essentials in like your Laptop, Tablet, Sunglasses and more. It looks absolutely chic. This bag is a designer bag and it’s quite affordable compared to similar totes or “book totes”. It was originally $175. When I ordered mine through Shop Bop, one of their 15% new customers codes saved me around $148.
I initially found this bag while looking at Camera Straps for my Marc Jacobs Snapshot bag in March, and I saw this and instantly fell in love. I love totes. I love Crossbody bags. Bold lettering is what made me fall in love instantly. It was obvious that I needed it. I thought about it for two months.
Slate Green Color has a subtle hint of green and is perfect for neutrals.
All The Deets The bag is 100% canvas, but it’s a lot thicker and durable than you’d think. The bag can be purchased in one of two sizes as mentioned above. The regular and small sizes can be purchased with or without the strap. According to Norstrom product reviews both sizes can accommodate a standard-sized laptop. YouTube videos of the larger model were available for review. I found them both to be incredibly large. You choose the style.
This bag’s standout feature is its lettering. It is bold and clear. This bag has a street-style element that I love, which is why it’s so popular.

The Tote Bag Marc Jacobs is made from canvas and boldly boasts a “The Tote Bag Marc Jacobs” logo across the front, proudly making a statement. You will also find a zipper at the top, which is something that many bags of this type (such as the Louis Vuitton Neverfull) lack.
Because the interior is cotton, it is simple to clean. There is also a zipper pocket inside that can be used to store small items.

It’s something I don’t like to admit, but sometimes my bags end up collecting dust when I’m too busy working for several weeks. Although that was not the truth, I still love vintage Coach bags.
The ‘tote was a huge success. Every time I opened up YouTube, I saw some review videos about their totes. Like a unavoidable force, it was as if the bag had taken over my thoughts and heart. To my knowledge, their totes first came out in the cotton fabric. That minimalist design appeal was my favorite. The minimalist design was appealing to me. The tote was a magnet for lint, as I found out from many reviews. I love to condition my leather bag, but I am too lazy to sit there with a lint roller for clean-up.
In the future, they released the mini tote bag in leather and the small version. Marc Jacobs produced at most six colors of the leather version. They currently have only the true red, black, white, and twine colours available. Search the internet to see if pink or neon green are available!
Back of bag The black tote was what I purchased. The true red is beyond gorgeous, but I don’t have outfits that I can wear to pull it off. A few of your reviews also mentioned the pink model, which I thought was adorable. Farfetch sold the tote and I chose Farfetch over their official site. Farfetch is a great place to shop for bags and other products. Surprisingly the bag came from Italy, even though Marc Jacobs was an American company. Farfetch was a London company. Shipping was quick! Shipping was quicker than anything you can ship local with USPS. I ordered the bag and it arrived in my mailbox on Thursday. I am mind blown!
When the tote opened, it was packed well. The contents were well packed with soft tissue and protected from any damage. It was the first time I saw it before buying. I once saw the cotton ones at Nordstrom, but not the leather version. When I got the bag out, I was stunned. It looked exactly as I had imagined it to feel. It was a beautiful bag! I gasped to myself.
You can see inside the bag. It was a good bag. It’s great to receive the exact product image you have viewed online. This might seem simple. But sometimes I would open the boxes and pause before I thought: Did I really order that?
