Specifications of Clubs
The G400 driver comes in three models: G400, G400 SFT, G400 LST.
Standard G400 comes with a standard 445cc clubheadweight of 206g, and can be ordered in 9deg or 110.5deg. D3.
G400 SFT features a 445cc Clubhead. However, it is slightly lighter at only 203g. Stock weight is D1.
The G400 LST has a 445cc clubhead that’s slightly heavier at 208g in either 8.5deg or 10deg options. D4 is our stock swingweight
Alta CB55 stock shaft. Available in regular regular, regular stiff, stiff, and extra-stiff options. Standard length is 45 3/8”. There are also options to get the G400 equipped with the PING Tour 65, Tour 75, and Aldila X Torsion Copper shafts. You may also choose the Project X X HZRDUSY yellow shaft. The shafts are available with additional charges. PING Tour and Aftermarket shafts have a standard length of 45 1/4″.
G400 driver is available at $399. The G400 standard driver with Alta CB55 shaft was used for this review. It is a stiff-flex model, and I had it trimmed down to 44 1/2 inches.

Tungsten Sole Weight

With this driver, the engineers at Ping used this Tungsten sole weight in order to create a deep CG location. This will mean that the club’s centre of gravity is located in the back of the driver’s head.
The CG site was selected for many reasons. It creates stability but it also increases forgiveness. This is a good tool for anyone who struggles with consistency when using their driver.
You will be able to drive your car off-centre if this Tungsten Sole weigh is applied.
