Ryobi Chainsaw 18V Review

It’s great for small jobs, but be careful with the leaked oil.

Ryobi 18v is a great brand. The chainsaw is great for smaller jobs. I have it for about one year. This chainsaw is small enough to be operated one handed. However, it’s not recommended for safety. It was a fell gum tree, which had been dried out a little bit. The saw took a while to get through the stump but it eventually did. It cuts right through anything green.

It was the same issue as the other reviewer: the chain oil leaking. Chain oil seeped through the saw cover as it sat in shed. It was not obvious to me so I walked across it.

Read more y sandstone pavers, through the house, across the rug…trailing a line of oil behind me. The wife went bonkers. It’s better to buy an electric high power petrol engine chainsaw than a wood-cutting or hardwood saw. This is more for convenience and being battery won’t annoy the neighbours. It used very little battery, which surprised me. This chainsaw is great for my backyard work. Just watch out for the oil leak.
