Today I’m doing an important product review for Shine Armor Fortify Quick Coat. This product has been the subject of many inquiries lately. What is The Shine Armor Formula?
You may have already read my previous reviews on Shine Armor before reading my Shine Armor review. If so, you will know that silica (also known by SiO2), is the active component that helps protect your vehicle’s exterior. Without SiO2, a “ceramic spray” is just some juice in a bottle that will agitate your paint and other surfaces.
Shine Armor Fortify Quick Coat contained less than 2 % SiO2. This is a very weak Ceramic Spray competitor. Nexgen Ceramic Spray is 13% SiO2. This makes it an excellent paint sealant that repels contaminants as well as water. NexGen was water-repellent for more than two months, whereas Shine Armor only lasted about 10 days.
Due to the low amount of SiO2 in Shine Armor, I was forced to give it a score of 5/10 for product strength but 6/10 for product durability.
The greatest deception in Shine Armor…
Let’s get down to business. Shine Armor’s sponsorship campaign makes it appear you can all use the same formula to wax, clean and protect your vehicle. But if your knowledge of detailing is anything, that’s an enormous lie.
It’s possible to clean the surface of paint with dirt. You should apply liquid, and wipe it down using a microfiber towels. Your surface will be severely scratched. That’s the exact OPPOSITE of what a ceramic coating advertised as the “best product” out there is supposed to do. People believe all the hype but end up scratching their surfaces with Shine Armor.
It is better to wash your car well and do a clay-bar detail prior to applying any ceramic spray products. This is the best way to prepare your car’s surface for a ceramic coating, and ensure maximum protection from any ceramic product.
I really wish Shine Armor advertised their product truthfully, and that would save thousands of people from damaging their cars upon reading “excellent” reviews and unreal 5 stars comments. They choose to deceive customers by pretending to be an all-in-one miracle spray. I don’t often get angry, but I can’t stand dishonest advertisers at all!

For instance, you can put nails and screws all over the car’s body. It will still work. Or, if you stick a fried eggs on it …..why are you doing that?
The video is so misleading that I think this product is just a scam.
