It’s fair to say that when I first saw the demo, this club seemed like the perfect solution for my lack of consistency. This was undoubtedly reassuring. The club can also be used off the turf, fairway or rough, as you would an ordinary hybrid, as long as the lie allows. I had to adjust my swing to accommodate the extra weight.
Distance was not quite as accurate as that of my driver, but the results were still acceptable. This club may increase your confidence on the green and give you more options when it comes to approach shots. If you have a great lie it can work well as a fairwaywood. This is an easier 3-wood to hit.
To allow this club, would I have to get rid of my driver? They probably wouldn’t. For the driver has a special place in the bags of most of us, no matter how consistent it is to hit well. The bag should be kept within 14 clubs. If you have questions about whether or not the bag can stay in your bags, then it is important to consider the game of the driver and how much club it will help with. Although it might be useful for chipping, I haven’t tested this.
In conclusion, this club will not solve all your golf problems, as I thought it might. While it may be more costly, heavier and longer than your typical hybrid, the club can help you get better results off the tee. Many of us find this important.
