My partner and I put the pieces together in 10 minutes. That included enough time for me take notes.
The slats are easy to roll out once the base frame has been assembled. The 15 slats that make up the king-sized frame are covered with felt. This helps reduce noise due to bed movement or potential splinters. Everything about the frame works perfectly, from packing to assembly to daily use.
Another, but perhaps not as important benefit is the fact that pieces are distributed across several boxes rather than in one box. The pieces themselves are quite heavy and if the company tried to pack them in one large box, I can only imagine how much damage they would have caused. Although it is not a big deal, this should be mentioned.
