Touch VPN, according to its website, promises “protect data from hackers” and “surfing the internet anonymously”. However, its lack of information and lack of paid subscriptions make us doubt its legality.

Touch VPN can be used on Android via i. You can download and install Touch VPN on any Android device, including i.Pad or i.Pod Touch. There are handy links at the site that will help you navigate the process. It’s also easy to download the Chrome browser extension.

Touch VPN is similar to other VPN apps. It has a location menu, a button that connects, as well as a quick menu. The protocols it supports can be chosen (more information below). This comparison can help you see how VPN services differ from Touch VPN. Touch VPN is not an internet security service that targets those looking for speed and instant server response. Therefore, if you are looking for a service that allows you to stream HD videos or even more naively, to stream Netflix, you’ll need to look elsewhere.

Is Touch VPN a good choice?

Answer: No.

Although its $0 price tag might lure you in, you should be careful with your choice. Touch VPN logs your information immediately you sign up and may sell it to other parties.

So…

Touch VPN provides email-based customer service. Although we don’t expect them offering 24/7 chat support as is standard for most paid VPNs, we still expect them to respond in our time of crisis.

Well:

Tested their customer service by sending them two questions using the “feedback” function on their Android or PC apps. Then, we waited and hoped for their replies.

It’s a sad truth:

The review is being written after it has already been 24 hours since the date we sent them the questions. And they still haven’t responded to the second one!

A bad sign. This means that, if there is an immediate problem with the VPN–you will need to wait for more than a few days before getting your answer and can use it again.
